The Challenge

Educational technology usually dies at the classroom door. Software is bought at an executive level, dropped onto teachers’ desks, and abandoned because the educators themselves were never invited into the vision. Yuverta’s brand promise is to make students “at home in the future.” As the primary vocational institution for climate, agriculture, and water management in the Netherlands, Yuverta needed to integrate educational XR tools across dozens of campuses. But you cannot mandate wonder from the top down. Before we could build tools for the students, we had to win the trust of the faculty.

The Solution

We built a cinematic VR experience designed to inspire them. Entire faculty groups enter a virtual reality at the exact same millisecond. Together. Transported into a near future shaped by climate acceleration, educators confront a vital truth: our ecosystems cannot be restored tomorrow unless today’s teachers are equipped to inspire the generation tasked with saving them. Within the headset, abstract technological potential becomes visceral: educators watch living plant anatomies hover above classroom desks, they travel through a house cat’s blood stream, and witness a student blossoming as a vertical gardener. Because the experience runs in lockstep across dozens of headsets, all teachers return to reality at the same time—primed to debate, design, and co-author the curriculum tools they actually want to use.

The Result

The experience is touring Yuverta campuses nationwide. By using virtual reality to initiate a peer-to-peer dialogue rather than a top-down mandate, we transformed passive faculty into active co-creators—crowdsourcing the specific AR and VR tools teachers actually want to deploy in their daily curriculums. The “Planet Soil” Teaching Module was a direct result of this initiative.
